Sanjay was born and raised in south Kerala and has spent his adult life in and around the Trivandrum–Poovar corridor. He started writing about the places he knows because he got tired of reading generic travel listicles written by people who had never actually been to the destinations they described.

When a resort changes hands, a boat operator goes out of business, or a road gets resurfaced in a way that changes how you get somewhere, he updates the article within weeks — not months later when a reader finally catches the mistake.

For international visitors, he knows what confuses first-timers. For domestic Indian travelers, he knows what’s overhyped and what’s genuinely worth the detour. For both audiences, his guides start from the same honest premise: what would I tell my own family if they were visiting?
